Disaster Response Ministries of the West Virginia Conference responds in the name of Christ to care for persons affected by a variety of disasters. Our Early Response Team and leadership help assess needs in the days following a disaster, develop teams, and organize and collect materials such as cleaning buckets, health kits and construction materials. Most recently we are responding to flooding in southern West Virginia. Your support is critical to our efforts so that we can continue to reach out in love and concern to our neighbors in need.

Presently, many churches throughout the West Virginia Conference are engaged in assembling
clean-up / flood buckets. These buckets will then be collected and sent to the New Vision Depot,
a WV Conference Disaster Response facility in Beckley. The Disaster Response Teams will then distribute these supplies to the people in southern West Virginia affected by the recent flooding.
