Acolyte Training will be Sunday, August 30th at 5pm in the sanctuary.  This is for new and experienced acolytes both and parents.  We will be preparing for the Advent season that will be here before we know it.


Acolytes are those who assist in the worship service.
Normally the acolyte serves by lighting and extinguishing the candles on the
communion or altar table.
At the discretion of the pastor, the acolyte may also assist in other
portions of the worship service such as baptism and communion . It is the custom
in most local churches for the acolytes to be young persons, giving them an
early opportunity to be participants in the service. Adults, however, also may
serve as acolytes.
