United Methodist Women will have an executive committee meeting on Monday Oct. 2nd at noon, followed by a general meeting at 1pm in the parlor. We will be electing new officers for the coming year. Please plan to attend.
United Methodist Women 2016 Reading Plan
The following people have read the UMW books for 2015: Joyce Board, Bobbie Fisher, Bobbie Goff, Cookey Gunther, and Donna Isner. If there are other people who have read 5 or more books, please let Cookey Gunther know so she can add your name before she sends the list to District. Anyone in the church is welcome to check out and read the UMW books located in the Parlor. The 2015 books are on the top of the bookcase. The 2016 books have not been ordered yet. 
"An Evening of Christmas Music" Everyone is invited to the United Methodist Women's Christmas program on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00 here at Epworth. This year, our program will feature piano selections by Ruth Curry, flute solos and duets by Alyssa Perry and Lisa Bailey, and a few other surprises! We look forward to "Epworth's Evening of Christmas Music" on Tuesday, December 1st at 7:00pm.
Claire Dent was originally scheduled to bless us with her violin solos, but had to unexpectedly cancel. Prayers go out to Claire Dent's husband who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. |
