Betty Lou (Taylor) Myers

Betty Lou (Taylor) Myers, 77 of Ripley, passed away at Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.
A daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary Ruth Toms Taylor.
She graduated from Camden-Clark Nursing School in Parkersburg as a registered nurse. She retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Charleston.

She also worked for 25 years at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley and Kaiser Aluminum @ Chemical Corporation of Ravenswood.

She was very active in many organizations including her church, Epworth United Methodist and its choir, United Methodist Women, past junior choir director, past Girl Scout leader and Kieth's Hills Little Theater, where she held various offices and play parts.

She is survived by a daughter, Janine Sayre and her husband Tracy, of Evans, a son, John F. Myers and his wife Melinda, of Monroe, N.C., sister, JoAnn Deem and her husband Robert, of Mineral Wells, brother Lawrence V. Taylor of Gladstone, Mich., grandchildren, Tyler, Ali and Courtney Sayre of Evans and Trent and Dea Myers of Monroe, and four nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack W. Myers.
Services wer at teh Epworth United Methodist Church in Ripley wit the Rev. Dr. Ken Krimmel officiating.
