Bobbie Jean (Coe) Fisher

Bobbie Jean Fisher, 90, of Ripley passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Charleston Gardens, Charleston, WV.
She was born January 2, 1926 at Sandyville a daughter of the late Arthur Absolem and Amanda Frances Murrey Coe.
Bobbie was a school counselor for many years at Ripley High School before her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, and was very involved with the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years James Vernon Fisher; son Robert D. Fisher and his wife Judy of Evans; daughter Dee Shockley and her husband Greg of Clarksburg; granddaughters Lexi Fisher-Stein and husband Charlie of Brooklyn, NY, Allison Gray and husband Nathan of St. Paul, MN, and Abby Fisher of Morgantown.
In honor of Bobbie’s wishes she was cremated. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev. Ford Price officiating.
