Inez Lucille (Workman) Braun
Parkersburg News and Sentinel

Inez Lucille Workman Braun, 91, of Ripley, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010.

She was born Jan. 4, 1919, at Jacobsburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Homer D. Workman and Bertha Higgins Workman. She was a graduate of Bellaire High School and was married to the late Edwin William Braun for 65 years. They lived in Wheeling and Sarasota, Fla., before moving to Ripley in 1990.

She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sally K. and Richard E. Rowe of Ripley; grandchildren, Melanie Braun McDaniel (Don), Gregory B. Rowe (Christine) and Katherine Rowe Boggess (Jeremy); great-grandchildren, Emma and Lilly Rowe and Oscar Baggish; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Edwin Braun; sisters, Verne Stevens, Georgia Corbett, Pauline LaValle and Edna Lucas; and brother, Homer Workman.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Epworth United Methodist Church, Ripley, with the Rev. Theresa Deane officiating. Friends may call the family one hour prior to the service at the church. Following the service the interment will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, W.Va.

Memorials may be made to Epworth United Methodist Church, Ripley, or to Kanawha Hospice Care in Charleston.
