Dear Epworth Members and friends,
Autumn is a time for reflecting upon the Grace and Bounty that God has bestowed upon us. Here at Epworth, that means it’s time for our Fall retreat. A time to look back at the work we have been tasked, by God, to do. A time to plan and build upon that good work. What new things does God have in store for us in the coming year? Do you have ideas for new programs or ministries? Things you think we could improve? Celebrations about what God has done and will do in the life of this church? Your idea could send us in a powerful, new direction to serve God and the Community. Bring your ideas and enthusiasm to the Vocational Building, Cedar Lakes Conference Center at 10 am on Saturday, September 21, 2015. We will have some training and worship led by Rev. Deane. Lunch will be provided if you let us know by Wednesday that you will be there. Otherwise feel comfortable to bring your own. After lunch we will spend a couple hours in the afternoon brainstorming and setting out our Ministry Action Plan for moving forward. We will finish at 3pm at the latest. Everyone is welcome; church officers and work area team leaders are strongly encouraged to attend! Out of past annual planning events have come such ideas as:
