Rosemary Fay (DeBord) Bell

Rosemary Fay (DeBord) Bell, 90 of Ripley, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Charleston General Hospital following a short illness.
She was born August 17, 1925 at Olcott , WV, a daughter of the late French Lemuel and Rhoda Holstein DeBord. She was a graduate of Washington District High School and worked many years as an Office Manager for various doctors including Dr. McClung, Dr. Ali Morad and Dr. James Hughes. She was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Ripley.
Rosemary, known to many old friends and family members as Fay, was a very devoted Christian and an inspiration to so many. She always said she was truly blessed. She will always be known as a giving and caring person. Her family will most definitely remember her devotion and love and the way she always loved cooking and being with them.
She is survived by daughters Lynda (Dougals)Clark, Shawn Bell and Jackie (Kerry) Casto: son Ed (Felicia) Bell; grandchildren Jackie (Keith) Gibson, Michael (Ashleigh) Gaillard, Gina (Chris)Locklear, Toni (John) Gross-Conley, Ande (Jonathan) Earnhardt, Sarah Tucker Petty, Matthew ( Betziada) Bell, Sherie (Chad)Freedman, Holly (Ryan) Fell, Tony Casto and Karli Casto; brother French (Sue) DeBord; sisters Freda Eskew, Joyce Pauley and Sherry (Eric) DeHart; sisters-in law Juanita DeBord and Yvonne DeBord; brothers-in-law Kenny (Marcie) Bell and Dennie (Denise) Bell. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J.E. Bell; a son Barry Bell; brothers Jim DeBord, Talmadge DeBord and Gene DeBord; sister Virginia Midkiff and son-in-law Ben Gaillard.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to her caregivers Mary Johnson and Liz Rhodes.
Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley with Rev. Teresa Deane officiating. Committal Service will be in the Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston at 3:30 pm on Friday. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday, November 5, 2015 at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Rosemary's memory to the Alzheimer's Association or local Veterans Organizations or the Epworth United Methodist Church. Memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrighfuneralhome.com
